Absolutely the best DVDs I have ever purchased. Jul 06, 2010 I don't think I've ever seen a better price or a better DVD. I've purchased numerous stacks of these Verbatim disks, and never had a single coaster. Not once. I wish I could say the same about other brands I've tried.
Additionally, the fact that these disks are hub-printable is fantastic, as it means I am able to print full-color graphics on disks without the need to hassle with sticky labels. I've been buying Verbatim for awhile now, and the great price and great quality have turned me into a loyal customer. I don't think I'll see anything that can beat these disks.
Nearly every disk defective Feb 13, 2010 Normally, I think of Verbatim as one of the better brands for blank media. However, nearly every disk in this spindle purchased from Amazon was defective. The flaw in the media could be seen as an empty circle when looking at the bottom of the disk. Poor quality control.
Excessive skipping at higher burn rates Dec 18, 2009 I used to use this brand for in-house made DVD videos that play in computers and DVD players. I found that these discs skipped a lot, especially at higher burn rates, and otherwise started to fail pretty quickly when used a few times a day.
I work at a higher education facility and the DVDs get distributed/played in the library, where students have access to review materials. Needless to say, I got a lot of support calls for bad discs. When I switched to Taiyo Yuden and started to only burn at 1X, the support calls stopped (except for DVD software player issues on Microsoft platform).
I only use these discs now for throwaways or one-offs that are going to sit around or the data transferred to another computer, not for production.
Never a coaster Dec 07, 2009 I have been using Verbatim DVD media for years and I have to say after over 1000 burns on several different burners, I can count on 2 hands the number of times that this media has failed to burn because of the media itself, and not a hardware or human error. The printable matte surface holds the ink well and dries quickly. I am using the Epson R350 printer and the results are great. In addition, you can't beat Amazon's rockbottom price for this superior quality media.

Not good Oct 01, 2009 I bought this to create back up of my movies and I was very disappointed to see that movies that I copied were playing with glitches. I asked for a replacement thinking that it might be the problem with this item but even the repalcement dvd's also had same problem. I returned the item and bought HP printable DVD's from walamrt for $26 and it worked prefectly fine. I dont recommend this to anyone.
